Hi, I’m Paula and I am an artist, educator, administrator, student, mother of two children and juggler of very many things.
At my studio, I spend as much time as I can on personal projects, course work, commissions or teaching classes and facilitating parties. I love how versatile my studio space is. I really enjoy painting, sculpting and craft and the endless possibilities that some recycling offers up! My personal projects have focussed on portraiture recently, but I am currently enjoying sketching landscapes and dabbling with abstract works.
I have a degree from Oxford Brookes University (BSc Psychology and Visual Studies) and more recently I have received Level 4 and Level 5 Diplomas from The Learning Connexion.
I am currently studying part time for my Level 6 Diploma.
I love to learn and get a buzz from mastering challenging techniques.
I welcome people to my studio. It opens up and extends my creative practice so I offer group sessions, with plenty of one-to-one time, ensuring each student gets the attention and guidance they need. Whether it’s children discovering their artistic voice, or adults unwinding with a paintbrush in hand, my goal is to create a supportive and inspiring environment where you will learn life long skills and a love of creativity.
I truly believe anyone can be an artist, and I love nothing more than sharing my knowledge, and watching others grow in confidence, skill and ability.

My daughter absolutely loves going to Paula’s art class! It is a highlight of her week that she always looks forward to. She tells me Paula makes it easy for her to learn, she is patient and challenges her to push her learning further. She loves trying all the different art techniques and processes and the equipment provided is fantastic. Paula is always working with the children around their interests and is flexible to adapt to the sessions to suit those in the class. It’s the best art class in town. Hayley.
